Red Take Two

I have not been able to go to the recent meetings because I have forgotten and had tests etc. I can't quite remember what I was supposed to be doing but I do remember something about finding sound bites related to our color. So I'm going to do that now.

Cardinal Call

This video is quite long so I've picked out the sections I liked.

Saxophone

First 12 seconds, 17-20 seconds.

  2. This is a very nice piece of art work. It is unique music that changes tempo in a variety of ways that makes the music fun to listen to. I do enjoy the saxaphone bacause it has the ability to hit those very high notes and also those very low notes giving it a wide range of note compatibility. I enjoyed listening to this music and thought it was very interesting how there was a machine playing the sax.

  3. I am very glad that this was posted. I have seen many concerts and I was very interested in what the technology of today can do. This is very good and it is a very large step in the field of art technology. This was very relaxing and very cool. It keeps a steady beat and plays very well. Great job!

  4. I very much enjoyed this for of music. I never knew tha even with such technological advances, that saxaphone would sound like it was being played by a real person. I am very suprised that someone would think to do this. That person must be very smart because i could only imagine how hard that would be to tune the instrument and have the right mechanized keys hit the correct keys on the sax. Also, it must have been hard to set the machine to play that exact melody, which ranged from high to low notes. Thank you for opening my eyes to how new technology can master even the hardest of tasks, like playing a saxaphone flawlessly.
